Crown of Glory

Today my sister, neice, and I decided to take a trip to a local cemetery and take some pictures of the monuments there. They have some amazing angel statuary. Looking at epitaphs we did find some very cool historical people. One was a member of the Boston Tea Party, and another we found was killed at Gettysburg on July 4, 1863.

This statue in particular stands by one of the main enterances and I love the downcast look in her eyes. She is closest to the main gate and visible from the road. (In which I ran out into to get a picture of the cemetery title on the gates).
